Manchester City will be favoured against Schalke 04 on Tuesday, but the odds won’t be as overwhelming as the Premier League giant might hope for.
Up 3-2 on aggregate heading into the second leg of the Champions League’s Round of 16, City should feel confident against the German club, especially as the deciding match will be played in Manchester.
However, City will have to exorcise some recent demons in order to eliminate Schalke, as Pep Guardiola’s team has lost the last two UCL knockout games it has hosted. That bit of unfortunate history is balanced out by the fact that City is currently amid a three-game win streak against the visitors, and Guardiola has never lost a match against Schalke in his coaching career.
The match kicks off at 4:00 p.m. ET in Manchester on Tuesday, March 12, and can be streamed in high-definition on.
